Lee M. Keeley captures
the essence, vibe and energy of
Jim Morrison
as the vocalist of
Light My Fire.
A veteran of rock cover bands, Lee assumes the soul,
sound and personality of Jim in his interpretations of all the
Doors' original and unforgettable songs.
Lee started playing the piano at age 11 and took lessons for most of his
adolescence.
At the age of 15 he started singing in high school garage bands (mostly popular
and classic rock cover groups).
He has been playing in various garage bands on and off for the last 20 years, in
various roles;
as lead singer, keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist. An avid music enthusiast
and collector, Lee has amassed an
extensive collection of vintage and rare music instruments; notably an
impressive collection of 20 vintage keyboards.
Having a taste for cool automobiles, Lee has also collected 5 vintage Ford
Mustangs
and several rarer
editions dated
from 1965 to 1994. Pictured with Lee is his very own
“Blue Lady”, a
1966
Mustang GT fastback in
Midnight Blue metallic. This car is reminiscent of
Jim Morrison’s
own
“Blue Lady”
a 1967
Mustang Shelby GT-500,
in Dark Blue metallic. Lee is a true keeper of the Morrisonesque era and spirit.
